Blagojevich dodges media circus outside his Chicago home

Chicago – Gov. Rod Blagojevich left his home, waved to the media and quickly got into a dark SUV without talking to reporters Wednesday morning.

Blagojevich was released from jail Tuesday after being arrested on federal corruption charges that accuse him, among other things, of trying to profit from appointing the person who'll replace President-elect Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate.

Blagojevich left his home on Chicago's north side, which was ringed early Wednesday by security and reporters as news helicopters hovered overhead.

Shortly before Blagojevich left, his daughters also were escorted out of the home.
