By AP/KWMU

FAIRMONT CITY, Ill – Authorities in Madison County have charged two people with drunk driving in a three-vehicle collision that took the lives of a pregnant Granite City woman and her husband.

Police say 24-year-old Lindsey Arnold-Zimmer was driving south on Illinois Route 111 near Fairmont City on Saturday afternoon, when her car was rear-ended by a Corvette Donald Canterberry was driving.

The impact drove Arnold-Zimmer's car into the path of a pickup driven by Tiffany Orgara.

Arnold-Zimmer was five months pregnant. She and her husband, Adam Zimmer, were killed.

The two others suffered only minor injuries. They were charged with DUI Sunday.
