Politically Speaking: St. Charles County Executive On Boeing, Right To Work And More

Jason Rosenbaum, St. Louis Beacon.

Every week, St. Louis Public Radio’s Chris McDaniel joins the St. Louis Beacon’s Jo Mannies and Jason Rosenbaum to talk about the week’s politics.

On this week's show, St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann joins us. Ehlmann talks about playing basketball with Governor Jay Nixon (he says he's a better shooter than Nixon, but that the governor "throws his weight around" on the inside).

Then we get into the actual issues, and discuss the Boeing special session. We opine about what effect landing the 777X would have on St. Charles. Then we talk about the county's growth, as well as the infrastructure decisions it's made.
