St. Louis, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation says it will complete next week a project to install guard cables in the median of a deadly stretch of Interstate 70.
Work on the two-point-six mile stretch in Warren County was not scheduled to finish until mid-December.
The area seen five accidents in the past eight months where cars crossed the median and hit oncoming vehicles. Five people have died.
