St. Louis, Mo. –

St. Louis is currently providing the backdrop for a major feature film based on the true story of the 1950 U.S. World Cup soccer team.

That team featured five players from St. Louis - four from The Hill. And that's where you're likely to see the cast and crew of the movie 'The Game of Their Lives.'

KWMU's Hillary Wicai recently went to Marquette Park as the company filmed some of the soccer scenes. She met with the film's director, David Anspaugh, to talk about how the filming is going, how St. Louis is treating them and what challenges he faces with this film - especially a tight budget.
