Washington, DC – St. Louis Congressmen Dick Gephardt and William Lacy Clay are once again asking President Bush to re-nominate Missouri's Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronnie White to the federal bench.

On Monday, they sent their second letter this year in support of White, who was nominated twice by former President Clinton. Former Senator John Ashcroft, who is now the U.S. Attorney General, led a Senate fight that defeated the nomination.

Congressman John Conyers, Jr. of Michigan also signed the letter.
