About 100 Guns Stolen While Being Transported on Train


St. Louis, Mo. – The ATF, St. Louis police and investigators
with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad are offering a reward for the return of more than 100 firearms.

Thieves took about 100 Browning bolt-action rifles and ten shotgun receivers from a train sitting in a rail yard in the city.

The thefts were noticed on July eighth. The guns are valued at $500 or more each.

The award is for up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
