Westfall In Drug-Enduced Coma to Help Recovery

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, MO – St. Louis County Executive Buzz Westfall remains in serious but stable condition at Christian Hospital Northeast. He's been there for two weeks with a staph infection and doctors have put the Democrat into a drug-induced coma to help with the healing process.

Democrat Charles Dooley has been serving as acting county executive until Westfall can come back to work. No word yet on when that might be.
