St. Louis, MO – Missouri's high school football championships get underway today (Friday) at the Edward Jones Dome.

Ladue and Hazelwood Central are among those teams who will play for state titles Friday.

Ladue will play Kearney for the Class 4 Championship at 3:15. Hazelwood Central will face Blue Springs in the Class 6 title game tonight at 7:00.

Which class a school is in is determined by that school's enrollment, with Class 1 being the smallest schools in the state.

Webster Groves and Sainte Genevieve will play Saturday. The Statesmen of Webster Groves will face Park Hill in the Class 5 game at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Ste. Genevieve will battle Harrisonville in the Class 3 game at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Illinois' high school championship games also start Friday in Champaign-Urbana. No teams from the Metro-East will be competing.
