SIUE Narrows Chancellor Search to Three

By AP/KWMU

Edwardsville, Ill. – Officials at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville have narrowed the search for a new chancellor to three people.

The list includes the campus's current provost, Sharon Hahs.

Also in the running are Northern Iowa University provost Aaron Podolefsky and Georgia Southern University provost Vaughn Vandegrift.

All three will visit the campus in coming weeks. A search committee is looking for a successor for chancellor David Werner.

He announced last year that he will retire July First.
