St. Louis – U.S. Postal inspectors and St. Louis police are investigating two attempted robberies of postal carriers in the past ten days, both in south St. Louis.
A Postal Service spokesman says the first occurred May 21st when an armed robber ordered the mail carrier to turn over his wallet.
The victim said he didn't have a wallet with him. The gunman ran away.
Tuesday, a gunman approached a carrier and demanded his wallet.
