St. Louis, MO – The Olympic Diving Trials get underway today (Monday) at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, just south of where I-70 meets Route 370.

The event will determine the make-up of the U.S. Olympic Diving team this summer in Athens.

Diver Scott Wilcock says the difference between a score of 7 or 9 are often little details that non-diving-fans can't really see. But he says newcomers can look for certain things.

Preliminary rounds start today (Monday). Finals will start Thursday and last through next weekend.
