800 Uncounted Primary Ballots Found in Columbia

By AP/KWMU

Columbia, Mo. – A bag with nearly 800 uncounted primary election ballots was discovered today in Columbia, Missouri, at the Boone County Clerk's office.

Clerk Wendy Noren describes it as "a major screw-up," but says it didn't change the outcome of any races.

The bag had ballots from the poll at Shepard Boulevard Elementary School.

Noren says it was delivered to her office but never was sent to the counting room.
