St. Louis, MO – A state representative from Ballwin was arrested this week on suspicion of driving drunk and leaving the scene of a crash.

Manchester police say Charles Portwood's truck crashed through a fence early Monday morning. They add he then walked away from the scene.

The Republican Portwood is running unopposed for his third term in office this November. He has not returned phone calls.
