Keyes Comments Over Gays Draw GOP Ire

New York, NY –

Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes angered some fellow Republicans Wednesday over comments he made about gays.

He told a talk show that gays are "selfish hedonists" and that, because Dick Cheney's daughter is a lesbain, she also fits that title. Other Illinois Republicans immediately criticized the comment. So, too, did Keyes' opponent in November, Democrat Barack Obama.
