St. Louis, MO – A long-time union leader in St. Louis says he'll retire this year.
Bob Kelley has been president of the St. Louis Labor Council for more than a quarter-century. He's also headed the local grocer's union for the past year and a half.
That's the union which went on strike against area Schnuck's, Shop-N-Save, and Dierberg's stores a year ago.
Kelley says he probably would have retired sooner, if not for that nearly month-long strike.
