MO State Rep. Portwood Free on Bond

Clayton, MO – Republican State Representative Charles Portwood is free on $10,000 bond after turning himself in at the St. Louis County jail to face drunken driving charges.

Portman arrived just before 5:00 Wednesday afternoon at the jail in Clayton. Arrest warrants were issued a day earlier for the legislator from Ballwin in connection with a crash in Manchester seven weeks ago.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Portwood faces no opposition int eh November election.
