Houston, Tex. – The Cardinals lost game four of the N.L. Champsionship Series on Sunday, 6-5 to Houston.

That leaves both the Astros and Redbirds with 2 wins in their playoff series. Game five will be tonight in Houston.

The Astros' win was capped by a record-tying and record-setting home run by Carlos Beltran. He hit a solo homer in the seventh for the decisive run. Beltran has homered in a record five straight playoff games. His eight post-season homers ties a record set by Barry Bonds two years ago.

Lance Berkman had two hits, a two-run double in the third and a solo homer in the sixth that helped the Astros wipe out a three-run deficit.

Albert Pujols went 3-4, homered, walked, scored twice and drove in three runs for the Cardinals.

Julian Tavarez gave up the Beltran homer and took the loss.

Woody Williams will start for the Cardinals tonight.
