Kansas City, MO –

Missouri's race for governor pits Democrat Claire McCaskill against Republican Matt Blunt.

McCaskill in August became the first Democrat to defeat a stitting governor of her own party in more than 80 years. Blunt is the second-youngest candidate to ever run for the office.

The politicians share a history of criticizing current Governor Bob Holden.
