St. Louis – Missouri Governor-Elect Matt Blunt named three more appointees to his staff Tuesday.
The new appointees are Trish Vincent as director of revenue, Jeff Davis as chair of the Public Service Commission, and former representative Chuck Pryor as legislative director.
Pryor says Blunt will forward such issues as workers' comp reform and an adjusted school funding formula.
While the new governor will face a legislature dominated by members of his own party, Pryor acknowledges it may not always be smooth sailing.
"I don't expect the General Assembly to agree exactly on everything with the governor's agenda," Pryor said. "So, while it will be less difficult, I think there's still a lot of work to be done."
Blunt will be sworn in as governor January 10.
