St. Louis, MO – Candidates in St. Louis City started filing Monday for next March's primary election.
Mayor Francis Slay was first in line, which means he'll be first on the ballot in the race for mayor.
No one else filed for that office on Monday but school Board member Bill Haas has said he will. Circuit Clerk Mariano Favazza says he's still not sure whether he'll run for mayor but has until January 7th to decide.
Most of the other dozen-or-so candidates who filed yesterday were aldermen running for re-election.
