St. Louis, MO – The city of Webster Groves will hold a public hearing tonight (Monday) on whether Webster University should be allowed to build new dorms.
The original plans for the new dorms were met with opposition from nearby residents who feared noise and other concerns. But the new plan appears to have been more favorably received because it would put the dorms on the other side of the campus, near I-44.
A vote from the city's planning commission is also expected tonight after the public hearing. The meeting is at 7:30 PM at Webster Groves City Hall.
The school hopes to have the dorms open in a year and a half.
