St. Louis, MO – The former head of the St. Louis school district will get a full year's pay of $220,000 for less than five months on the job.
The Post-Dispatch got a copy of the severage agreement with former Superintendent Floyd Crues. Crues became interim superintendent in July but took a long-term leave of absense in November.
The school board last month replaced him with Pamela Randall Hughes.
Crues will also get full benefits and $28,000 incentive bonuses. The district's contract with Crues says he could receive full compensation if the school board removed him before the contract was up.
