St. Louis, MO – Students at Saint Louis University will pay about six-percent more tuition next fall. That works out to about $1,400.
The school's Board of Trustees approved bringing the yearly tuition at SLU to $24,760. Room and board charges will also increase slightly.
Still, officials add the university's financial aid would increase by 8%, which means an extra $5.5 million (for a total of $72.7 million in aid).
Graduate tuition will increase next year, as well, by 4.8% to $760 a credit hour. Medical school and law school tuition will increase 3.5% and 5%, respectively.
