STL School Board Gets Two New Members Today

By Tom Weber, KWMU

St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis School Board will get two new members tonight (Monday).

Bill Purdy and Flint Fowler will be sworn in before tonight's meeting.

Voters last week elected the two - along with Veronica O'Brien, who was already on the board.

Purdy had also previously been on the board before winning back a seat last week. Fowler runs the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club.

Purdy and Fowler will take over on the board for Amy Hilgemann and Bill Haas. Neither of them ran for re-election.
