St. Louis, MO. – A strike by union drivers for Lohr Distributing continues.
But Anheuser-Busch beer in the city of St. Louis is getting delivered.
Union President Bob McKay says Lohr has hired replacement workers.
"We knew they was going to bring people in," McKay said. "They're going to get their beer delivered one way or the other. Our only hope is that some of these tavern owners won't take the product, and as I understand it there's quite a few who are turning them down."
McKay says the company wants workers to take on a larger portion of their health care costs. No new talks are scheduled.
Lohr did not return calls seeking comment.
