Chicago, ILl – If you've ever had a pocketknife confiscated at an Illinois airport, you might be able to get it back online.

Illinois is putting those and other unclaimed items on its auction website.

Items travelers forfeit when going through airport security and items from the airports' lost-and-found departments get turned over to the state to be sold at ibid.illinois.gov.

The state brought in more than $33,000, all profit, last year by selling unclaimed items.

Some of the items up for bid on the website recently included 21 pounds of Swiss Army knives and a big box of scissors. The box of knives was going for $63.50 Monday morning.

Other lots include sunglasses, kitchen knives and various tools.
