Jefferson City, MO – Goose eggs were wild yesterday at the Missouri Lottery. The mid-day pick three drawing came up 0-0-0.
Then, a few hours later, the evening pick three also came up 0-0-0.
It's the first time triple numbers have been picked twice in one day since the mid-day drawing was added a year ago.
But interim Lottery director Gary Gonder notes it's just a matter of chance, pointing out that each drawing is a random statistical event.
Gonder adds that triple numbers are popular bets for the Pick 3 game. The most popular combination is 4-4-4, with 0-0-0 being the 11th most popular combination overall.
