Columbia, MO. – The University of Missouri has released a timeline of events leading up to the July 12th death of freshman football player Aaron O'Neal.
The timeline shows that O'Neal slumped to the ground at the end of a preseason workout, then spent 12 minutes in the team locker room with an unnamed teammate and athletic staff member.
Then, the timeline said, the 19-year-old was carried to the front seat of a truck and was driven to the football team's offices.
That contradicts athletic trainer Greg Nagel's 911 call logged 29 minutes after O'Neal collapsed, in which he said O'Neal arrived in the back of a pickup truck.
O'Neal was a stand-out high school football player at Parkway North.
