By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, MO. – A St. Louis jury has recommended a 20-year prison sentence for the Reverend Thomas Graham.

The priest was convicted yesterday of sexually abusing a teenage boy in the rectory of St. Louis' Old Cathedral in the 1970s.

Circuit Judge Angela Turner Quigless will formally sentence the 71-year old on October sixth.

The jury deliberated about five hours before making its recommendation. Graham.

It wasn't clear if Graham's lawyers would appeal.
