Police confirm fourth woman was part of shooting spree

St. Louis, MO. – Police now say a catering-service employee did kill a fourth woman in this week's murder spree.

St. Louis police say ballistics tests linked bullets at the crime scene to others in a killing spree Tuesday.

Police say Herbert Chalmers killed Carol Moore, whose body was found yesterday.

On Tuesday, Chalmers also killed a former girlfriend in her apartment. He then went to a catering company where he worked and killed the co-owner and her daughter, before killing himself.

A woman tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Chalmers put a gun to her head and raped her before embarking on his murder spree.
