Walgreen's to test in-store clinics in St. Louis, Kansas City
St. Louis, MO – Walgreens plans to use St. Louis as a test site for in-store clinics. The drugstore chain will open 20 clinics inside stores in St. Louis and Kansas City.
The clinics will be near the pharmacy and no appointment will be needed.
Patients will be able to be treated for routine conditions, like ear infections, strep throat, and allergies. Screenings and vaccinations will also be available.
The clinics should open this summer, and will be open seven days a week. Walgreen's is partnering with Take Care Health Systems SM to operate the clinics.
