St. Louis, MO – New, thinner foul poles are being installed this week at the new Busch Stadium this week while the Cardinals are on the road. About 300 fans each game had obstructed views with the original poles.

The pole with a screen measured nearly four feet in diameter and blocked the sight lines in both right and left field. The new poles will measure about eight inches in diameter.
