Lee Enterprises puts company veteran in charge of Post-Dispatch

Davenport, Iowa – A Lee Enterprises vice president for publishing in Indiana is the new publisher of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Kevin D. Mowbray is a 20-year sales executive and publisher with Davenport, Iowa-based Lee. He succeeds Terrance C.Z. Egger, who has announced he is leaving the company this Friday.

The 44-year-old Mowbray currently oversees 13 Lee newspapers as a vice president for publishing, including The Times of Northwest Indiana, in Munster, where he has served as publisher since 2004.

Mowbray will have responsibility for the Post website and Suburban Journals. He also will continue as a publishing vice president.
