St. Louis, MO – In contrast with President Bush's recent push for greater emphasis on science in high school, researchers last week in Science magazine reported that many children decide to pursue science careers by the eighth grade.
In St. Louis, that's validation for science literary programs aimed at younger kids. KWMUs science reporter Robert Frederick talks with the leaders of some of those programs about the delicate balance between talking to kids at their own level and getting the science right.
