St. Louis, MO – Crews will close Kingshighway on Monday morning between Penrose Street and I-70, for about two months.

While the closure is only the length of a few blocks, it will mean finding a new way onto I-70 for many drivers.

A new bridge is being built to take Kingshighway traffic across railroad tracks near the highway; those connections will be completed during the closure.

Improvements will also be made to nearby Bircher Blvd., west of Kingshighway, which will leave it open only to local traffic.
