St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis area is slowly coming back to life after last week's storms.

Thousands of utility workers are still out in full force repairing power lines, but as of this morning (Tue), 150,000 were still without power. Ameren says it has restored power to 100,000 customers in the past day.

Their work, combined with cooler temperatures, also has allowed relief agencies to scale back their efforts. And people are now starting to clean up all the fallen trees.

KWMUs Matt Sepic prepared this report.
