World record attempt at City Museum

'We' the snake has had quite a run these past two years: She was stolen (and later returned); put up for auction (with no takers); and will now possibly be part of a world record (UPI file photo/Bill Greenblatt)

St. Louis, MO – The World Aquarium at the City Museum in downtown St. Louis will try to break the record today (Tuesday) for the largest collection of two-headed animals.

The hope is to get at least 11 two-headed animals into one room at the same time.

The collection will include We, a two-headed albino snake that the aquarium tried to auction off a few months ago but got no offers. We's owners will also try to breed the rare snake with another two-headed albino Black Rat snake, named The Golden Girls.
