St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis Election Board has a new chairwoman.

Governor Blunt Wednesday appointed Kimberly Mathis, 34, to the post. She's a lawyer and replaces Ed Martin, who is becoming Blunt's chief of staff.

The Missouri Senate must still confirm the appointment, though she can serve in the job until then.
