St. Louis, MO – St. Louis City aldermen return from their summer recess today (Friday).

One piece of legislation that's expected to be introduced would change the city's curfew law.

Right now everyone under the age of 17 has to be in by midnight during the week and a 1:00 a.m. on the weekends.

The bill being introduced today by Ald. Steven Conway (8th Ward) would make the curfew earlier for younger kids.

Kids who are younger than 13, for example, would have to be in by 9:00 on weekdays and 10:00 on weekends.

Children age 13 or 14 would have to be in by 10:00 and 11:00, respectively. The current curfew limits would remain in place for 15, 16, and 17-year olds.
