Belleville, Ill. – Authorities in St. Clair County say they have found more than 2,200 illegal prescription pills, many of them stashed in a vacuum cleaner bag, in a Metro East man's home.
The man had been arrested Friday on a weapons charge.
Bobby Tierce, 62, is jailed in Belleville on $100,000 bond after being charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Searchers of his home reportedly then found the pills. There's no word if Tierce will also face charges related to that find.
