Three teens arrested for setting school fire


Arnold, MO – Three teenagers have been arrested in connection wtih last week's fire at Fox Elementary School in Arnold.

One classroom was destroyed; six others had smoke and water damage.

Arnold police say the teens were caught on surveillance tapes shooting off fireworks near the elementary school. Police say one of the fireworks ignited a trash can near the school and the teens fled when the fire began.

They were arrested Wednesday night; their names are not being released.

The fire caused an estimated $1 million in damage.
