St. Louis, MO. – Relatives of two missing boys say they are disappointed that a task force looking into possible links to Michael Devlin has closed its command center.
The relatives say they were not notified before the task force closed its command center in Washington, Missouri
The task force spent nearly six months trying to determine if there is a link between Devlin and several cold cases around eastern Missouri.
Investigators have focused on the cases of Scott Kleeschulte, who disappeared from St. Charles in 1988, and Charles "Arlin" Henderson, who disappeared from Moscow Mills in 1991.
Devlin was arrested in January after 16-year-old Shawn Hornbeck and 13-year-old Ben Ownby were found in his Kirkwood apartment.
Devlin is in jail awaiting trial.
