Springfield, ill. – Illinois lawmakers have set a dubious mark.
As of Wednesday, this year's overtime session becomes the longest in modern state history.
Lawmakers are still in session because they haven't yet passed a full budget for the fiscal year that started a month ago.
And as Illinois Public Radio's Sean Crawford reports, there's no indication when the long summer in Springfield will end.
