10-month old baby safe after carjacking

St. Louis, MO – A 10-month-old girl who was kidnapped Monday night after a carjacking is now safe at a hospital.

Police say Ivory Roach was found this morning in good shape at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Her father's stolen Lincoln Navigator was also found, but not the suspect.

Police say the child was in the back seat a gunman killed the baby's father, Tionna Roach, and took the car with Ivory inside. It happened on Burrwood Drive, near Lucas & Hunt and I-70.

Police say the suspect is a black man, medium build, bald with facial hair and was last seen wearing a white tee shirt. The missing SUV has a Missouri license plate number 7AS-61R.
