St. Louis, MO – Another bridge in downtown St. Louis is being closed - this time because of unsafe erosion.
Tucker Boulevard from Cole Street to O'Fallon Street is actually a bridge, it's a three-block span near the Post-Dispatch building.
City officials say the span will be closed for at least five months and about $5.7 million to repair. There are a to get around the closure, though the posted detour will take drivers west to 14th Street.
This is the second bridge on the north side of downtown to close this week; MO-DOT has shut down the Cass Avenue bridge that goes over I-70 because a regular inspection found unsafe conditions.
