St. Louis, MO. – State Senator Jeff Smith has been charged with a misdemeanor of presenting false identification at a Boonville casino.

A Cooper County prosecutor says charges also have been filed against Democratic House member Joe Aull (all) of Marshall and former Isle of Capri lobbyist Lynn Schlosser of Kansas City.

The charges stem from a July 31st incident in which Smith used a casino card issued to Aull to enter the Isle of Capri Casino.

The misdemeanor charge carries a punishment of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine.

Aull says he is innocent. Smith declined to comment. Schlosser did not return a telephone call.
