13 candidates for St. Louis Police Chief

St. Louis, MO – There are thirteen candidates for the St. Louis chief of police position.

By law, the replacement for Chief Joe Mokwa -- who retired last month -- must be an internal candidate. The Police Board has not yet determined the process that he candidates will go through before the selection of the new chief takes place.

The candidates are:

Lieutenant Colonel Reggie Harris

Lieutenant Colonel Roy Joachimstaler

Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Pollihan

Major Al Adkins

Major Antoinette Filla

Major Dan Isom

Major Paul Nocchiero

Major Lawrence O'Toole

Captain Mary Edwards-Fears

Captain Rochelle Jones

Captain Gerald Leyshock

Captain James Moran

Captain Gwen Spicer
