Woman, 18, killed during fight over fast food

St. Louis – St. Louis police say an 18-year-old woman is dead after a fight over fast food. Decora Jenkins was shot to death early Monday at her home in north St. Louis.

Police say the suspected shooter, 28-year-old Erika Wherry, had been fighting with Jenkins' boyfriend over a bag of fast food and tried to shoot him. The bullet hit Jenkins instead.

Wherry was charged yesterday with involuntary manslaughter.

Last month a 26-year-old man from Jennings was shot to death in St. Louis during a similar dispute over fast food.
