Blunt lands another post-governorship position
St. Louis, MO – Governor Matt Blunt has been selected to advise a private equity firm led by a son of failed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Blunt's term as a senior adviser to Solamere Capital begins January 13th, the day after he leaves office. The company says Blunt will be responsible for finding new areas for Solamere to invest.
Blunt was a supporter of Mitt Romney in the Republican primaries, and helped with his campaign in the state.
He will also be joining the board of directors of a California-based auto salvage company.
